I bought the coat to wear for recess and bus duty. I love the fit, and I'm sure I will be warm and toasty on the worst days this winter. I especially love the hood - it fits snugly enough that I won't have to keep adjusting it to keep my head warm on the coldest days. I'm ready for winter, now!
ProsDurable, Great Value, Comfortable, Performing as Expected
Lightweight and warm, I've bought one for me, my Mom and daughter - excellent value for the money. Keeps you warm and yet, not bulky. We use for chores around our farms and can count on being able to move easily yet stay warm without overheating. Can't say enough about these great coats!
I gave this 3/4 coat only 4 stars because I haven't had a chance to wear it in the cold weather yet. I will say, however, that I ordered a down jacket from a competitor at the same time I ordered this, and I returned the other one. This LL Bean coat has a lot of really nice features, which the other didn't. I'm going on faith in reading the other reviews that it is truly warm as we get some bitterly cold weather here in northern Illinois
