After being without a good,warm coat last year, I purchased this one early in the season. I LOVE THIS COAT! This is the first coat I have had that truly protects me from the wind and dampness of the Pacific NW. The quality is excellent. My only criticism is that I would be prefer there be no velcro, as that can be hard on your knit scarves and gloves if they happen to catch on the velcro. Otherwise, I highly recommend this coat. It is well worth the cost.
Raspberry was true to color - would have preferred periwinkle color but not available. Not recommended for 15 below weather but is wind resistant - warm enough with sweater and fleece jacket underneath for single digit temps. Wish pockets were not on side seam - makes me look pregnant with hat and gloves in each pocket - prefer them on front of coat. Well made, like the zipoff hoot option and ability to adjust hood with velco piece to see better.
This coat is very warm..warmer than any of my existing coats and light weight. However, its too big in the back and middle area, yet the sleeves are a smidge too short. I am a solid size 8, and the medium is too big for me. But, I'm keeping it anyway b/c I don't want to have to ship it all the way back to the US..and it does what I bought it for..keeps me warm.
I love my new coat. It is very warm and very comfortable. The first day I wore the coat it was 20 degrees out and very windy. I was out for about an hour and stayed warm the whole time. The only problem I have had is with the zipper. It's not easy to get zipped.
