The coat is not very good looking. The sleeves are definitely too short, and yet the body is too roomy even after I have a sweater on. I ordered an XS Petite. I am 5'2", 105 lbs. definitely a petite size.
I have always resisted buying a down coat. Although I know how warm they are I always felt I looked like the Pillsbury Dough Girl. This coat looks great and I've had nothing but compliments.
This coat is not as warm as indicated in the description. When I wore it with only a top, I was very cold especially in the sleeves. It is highly overrated as to its capacity to keep one warm. I have a no name jacket and it is so warm that I need not use a sweater even in 10 degree weather.
Really love the coat. One of the salespeople at my local LLBean warned me that it might be too warm when it gets in the 40 deg. range but right now it's about 10 deg. in Northern IL. so it's wonderful. Comfortable, generous fit...zips easily and has zippers on the pockets too so the gloves don't get lost.
