I bought this coat as I was looking for something really warm, and it fits the bill perfectly! It is super-warm but also lightweight, and it folds up into a compact size, so it's good for packing. When I first got my coat, the zip was a little awkward - it took several tries to fasten, and was almost impossible with cold hands. Having used the coat a few times, the zip has loosened up and is now much easier to use. The quality of the rest of the coat is good, and it has nice fleecy sleeve cuffs to keep your arms warm. I would definitely recommend this to a friend!
I love the 3/4 length, and the down is surprisingly light! It is very warm, perfect for the extreme cold and damp weather in NL! I have recommended this coat to friends, and am probably going to get the full length coat next year!
I exchanged a much heavier LlBean coat for this coat a few months ago and I'm glad I did. I'm a cold person in general and this coat has kept me very warm even in -30 winters. I love all the pockets...there deep enough on the outside for gloves, etc.... the cell phone pocket is easy to get to...and I use the chest pocket for glasses....and numerous other items. I'm glad you decided to give this coat snaps...its one of the reasons I choose this coat. I plan on purchasing the same coat next winter in another color. The only improvements I would make would be to have a fleece lining in both arms and torso for an even warmer feel. The length really keeps the wind out...Thanks LlBean
The color of this coat is great, (the lapis teal), and I love the length; but this coat is not very warm. Also the first thing I did was take off the fake fur-it really takes away from a nice coat and cheapens the look of it. I would have kept it though, if I wasn't cold everytime I wore it. I am really surprised, because I was replacing a much less expensive down coat with this one.
