i read all the reviews before buying this coat. i got it right before we had some below zero weather. i walk quite a distance from our parking lot at work. Wow!! what a treat to be warm all the way to my knees! i love my coat. this was a great deal. lightweight yet very warm. almost wish i had bought the full length coat!
For a small person who doesn't like the weight and fit of most coats this one is perfect. Very warm without being weighty or puffy Styling is good with zip pockets and one inside for your cell phone. Hood takes care of the wind! Just wish I had bought it sooner. You can't go wrong with this one!
I bought this coat in the LLBean Sale section in a teal blue color. It looked OK in the photos but even better when it arrived. I was tired of my heavy insulated leather coat. This coat feels like I have a spring jacket on yet I am kept toasty warm. Maybe someday it will be offered in red. It would be a perfect coat to wear to the cold football games.
I love this coat! It is so light, but so very warm. Our Minnesota winter has been very cold, and I have been toasty outside in spite of sub zero temps with wind. I really like the zippered pockets and the inside pocket for cell phone or glasses. The only thing I would change is the location of the pockets. I would like them several inches lower as for a coat rather than jacket height.
