I purchased this coat 2 years ago and it is fabulous-extremely light weight, durable and very warm! I wld also like to add that I have washed mine in our washer and dryer many times over as I bought the "paperwhite" (I do recommend that you dry this down coat with a tennis ball wrapped in a sock, this beats the down back into place!) and it always comes out beautiful!!!
This coat is my first LL Bean purchase and I absolutely love it. It's not too bulky or heavy but super-warm and cosy. I love the fleece lining of the pockets. My hands feel so toasty when I put them inside the pockets. And the fur trim on the hood makes a nice, fun touch.
This was my first Winter Coat. I am from Houston, Texas (where there isn't much of a winter). However, the year I started attending a boarding school in New England, I looked to L.L. Bean for help. And it answered with this coat. The coat is very warm and comfortable. The sleeves have a fleece cuff which is brilliant, along with the fleece lined pockets. The length is pretty flattering and looks nice. And the fit is not-too-snug, but not-too-loose. One of my favorite jackets. Definitely worth it and a great buy!
I am very impressed with this coat. It is so light and comfortable! Very warm, which I need in Alaska! Love the pockets on the inside of the jacket, even one for your cell phone. Recommend highly.
