I like the coat. Petite is not quite short enough for me. I would like it better if it were a couple inches shorter. It is very warm and great for harsh winter weather. Overall, I would recomend it
I waited for a year for this coat to return. I do like the styling and have already worn it because of the cold and rain. However, the coat is not as warm as it states in the ad. Good for fall and early winter but not for extreme cold we get here in ME. Nevertheless, I will keep it and get a warmer one for the deep cold.
I painstakingly took measurements in order to find the best size of this coat, but although I thought I ordered conservatively, size small was far too big, even when layered over a sweater and fleece shell. The coat was also unflatteringly straight cut through the center. When a coat is that big, it is just not as warm!
The Lapis Teal was a rich, beautiful color, though, much less electric than what my computer screen displayed. The faux fur trim around the hood was a more golden ivory-color, which matched the turquoise beautifully. Too bad the coat didn't fit! If you're tall and lanky, this might not be a flattering coat in your usual size.
I just received this coat in the dark brown color and I love it. It's just the right color, weight and length. It has inner wrist cuffs to keep out the cold, something the description didn't mention. The pockets are in exactly the right place. I love that the faux fur is detachable. The hood is large, and it is somewhat adjustable with a velcro strip thing on the back.
