I recently wore my ultrawarm coat and wool-lined zip bean boots to a football game - temp was 32 degrees - and I was as "warm as toast" throughout the entire game. I'm elated with my purchase. Let the cold winds blow, it won't keep me indoors.
I have this coat in the jacket length and also in the 3/4 length. These coats are the best coats I have ever owned. I like being able to remove the hood or just the fur on the hood. All the pockets are great. The front zipper closing and snap closures comes up under my chin so if I need I can slip my mouth and nose behind them for extra protection from the cold. Also I am glad LL Bean changed to the same color on the interior and exterior of the coat. Very warm and cozy!!
This coat is so comfortable, functional, and warm! Even during frigid weather, I felt like I was walking around with my comforter around me. This coat can withstand the snow, rain and wind like no other. I am very happy with this purchase, and look forward to enjoying the warmth for seasons to come.
