Outstanding Jacket. Great for Alaskan Winters. Have to say runs about two sizes big. I am very tall and decided to exchange 3/4 length for jacket, looks better. Enjoy!
I bought this coat two years ago and was very happy with it initially -- cozy warm, lightweight, handy hood, good styling and fit. The fur on the hood was matted and couldn't be fluffed enough to look good, but it was easily removed. The coat is not warm enough for temperatures under 20 degrees, but is great for 20-55. Unfortunately, near the end of the season last year, I began to notice that my shoulders were cold when walking outside. The down has settled away from the shoulder and/or decreased in volume so that all that is left is the fabric. It isn't so bad with a sweater or blazer underneath for in-and-out of the car around town, but it is not warm enough for walking outdoors any longer. It is very disappointing and I am unsure if I will buy another to replace it.
This coat is the absolute warmest coat I have ever owned. When I am walking my dog in the winter, I never have to worry about being cold, because I never am! I usually wear one later underneath the coat, and I am always toasty. I lost weight over the past year, so I will be getting the same coat in a smaller size.
