Ordered Thursday and got it Monday! It's surprisingly light but seems quite warm. It does run large, so I recommend sizing down unless you wear a lot of bulky layers.
Fell in love with this coat a few years ago in the full-length style. Keeps me warm, looks great whether going to work or searching for lost dogs in cold Michigan winters. Just bought another in the 3/4 length and am delighted to have TWO versions of this versatile coat!
I ordered this coat after seeing the Farmer's Almanac say the winter in Boston will be as bad if not worse than this past February. Since I can't afford a vacation home somewhere that snow doesn't exist I had to settle on a nice, warm LL Bean coat. I put it on in my apartment after receiving it and already began to feel the warmth from it. I'm very excited to use it on the cold days in Boston when I don't want to get out of bed let alone walk outside! The hood is nice and deep! The pockets have plenty of room for hand warmers and tissues. I hope it holds up to the abuse!
