I bought this coat as a birthday gift for my granddaughter, a grad student in Washington DC. She needed a warm coat last winter and chose this - but it was out of stock. So, when it was available in September I jumped at the chance.
Sally loves the coat -- says that it will be warm and comfortable in the cold months in Washington. The fit is perfect - and it is a sharp looking coat.
I ordered this coat last year in the paper white. I love it, love it, love it. Warm, washable...put in dryer with tennis balls...just great. So, this year, when the catalog came, I went to the store, not in yet, but the sales gal ordered it for me on line in the chocolate. I am now set for whatever this winter brings.....
I waited 3 years to buy this coat and I finally ordered early enough in the season before it sold out. It is so nice and I just can not wait to wear it this winter season. The style is flattering and it feels extra cozy. I love all of the little detail like the fleece cuffs inside the sleeves. For reference, I am 5'7", 145lbs and the small fit me perfect. I usually have a hard time with sleeves becuase my arms are on the longer side but this coat fit me perfect.
Had to return this coat because it was too big and boxy for my taste, however, it was well made, lightweight and would keep one very warm. I generally wear a size 2 and the XS petite was too big for me. Don't let my sizing issue cause you to not purchase if you can find the right size for you and are okay with boxy fit.
