I was able to get a hold of one of the last deep violet in Late February. The winter had been so brutal none of my coats were either long enough or warm enough. This one fits the bill beautifully, so much so I am contemplating getting it in the off-white later this summer, I am planning early this year! Got my llbean boots already too! Delivery so fast, coat so comfortableand I noticed previous complaints about buttons on hood was corrected. The cuffs are a great feature for keeping you warm. I love this coat. I have a parka from LL Bean, I bought 19 year's ago and I am still wearing it! I looked all over for a coat like this and thrilled I found it at LLBean. Thank you guys so much

I recently received a lovely, off-white, down jacket that I intended to use for dress. However, I wanted a warm, lightweight jacket that would be long enough to keep my torso warm and comfortable. I have found it in this black, hooded, 3/4 length coat. It is comfortable so that I can easily move in it, handy when I'm shopping or taking the dog out. Although this coat has a trim cut, it still manages to be roomy. The sleeves are cuffed, another plus. It keeps me so warm, one reason being the collar comes up high and snaps tight. The hood is practical and it, too, can be snapped keeping the wind out. The fur touches the outer edge of my face and keeps me so cozy. This coat is pretty enough that I can wear it for dress. I have received several compliments on it telling me how great it looks on me. I chose the color black because that was just about my only choice at the time; but, now I don't regret that at all. I just feel so good in it! I love this coat, would recommend it to others and it is the coat I've always wanted.
