I have been wearing the shorter version of this coat for a few years and decided I needed the extra warmth on my legs. It is lightweight and slips on easily over other clothing. Good pockets with zippers, inside and out.
I wish LL Bean would make a white white colored coat. The Paper White is yellowish and not at all flattering to my skin. The coat was a little small for their Medium size that I always get. My LLBean jacket from 10 years ago that I wear all the time was of a much higher quality and the Lavender color is so pretty. So until they make a better jacket, I'm sticking with what I have.
I just love the style of this coat. It is the perfect length for me being on the short side, but I didn't want to buy a petite sizing. I originally wanted a longer style, but this length suits me fine! It is light in weight, but ever so warm! I especially love the cuff inserts in the sleeves and the detachable hood. When I ordered this coat I was told it was on back order and it would be next July before I would receive it but I had a bunch of LLBean coupons so I decided to go ahead with it . What a surprise when it was delivered a few days later. My only problem was deciding between the green, purple or brown........If I had the money I would get all 3........Love it......it's lightweight, and waterproof and great for 30 below or 30 above...... Will save up all my coupons and maybe get another one next December..............
