I'm really unhappy with this coat and I would return it except it will cost me too much in shipping and is not worth the time and trouble. I live in Alaska and while the coat is warm enough for an average chilly and windless day, the wind goes right through it and I can see it won't be adequate for the deep cold yet to come this year. I'll be able to wear it with a fleece jacket or shirt underneath, so I'll put up with it this year. I have a similar jacket from an online shop that cost less than half the price of this coat that is on the same level of warmth. I'm truly disappointed to pay so much for so little protection.
Only worn it a few times, can't tell how good it keeps warm. But I really like the length, and the sleeve length is great, seeing I have short arms. One down side, still not sure I'm gonna keep it,cause the zipper comes off the bottom once you sit down, defect? Any body eles have this problem? Just hate return hassels.
This coat rocks. Truly, it has turned out to be a wise investment and durable, coat to survive the winter cold. I went back and forth when buying it, read many reviews, fretted about the cost, debated the color, really took my time because it was a lot of money for me to spend on a coat. I've now had the coat for 3 years and I don't have many complaints. I am about 5'8" and 200 lbs and have a Large coat that fits well. I love the two way zipper, it is handy. Snug pockets and comfortable weight of the coat overall. I wear it without the hood usually, but the hood is really nice when its windy out, zips up well to protect your face.I like the simple clean lines of the coat too. I'm thicker and taller, but I don't feel like a marshmallow in it , or like I'm wearing a sleeping bad. It just fits me good. Hopefully this review helps someone out there! I know everyone has their own opinions and expectations, so all I can say is what I've experienced. And for me and my Cincinnati weather needs, this coat has been a sound investment. I look forward to surviving many more winters snuggled inside of mine. Cheers :)
