This coat is really warm and that's the best thing I can say about it. It's very bulky for a petite fit. I had hoped it would have been slightly contoured the way that a body is contoured. But, it's straight up and down. The fur around the hood is awful and makes it nearly impossible to see when it's all the way up. The zipper though is the biggest problem. It is very, very hard to catch the zipper. I have thought about sending it back. I don't recommend this coat and would look at a different style.
I'm always cold and this coat has (so far) kept me warm while walking the dog in wind chills down to the teens. Petite small fits as advertised (I'm 5'2", 125 lb) though the sleeves just miss being too short. Took off the fur on the hood because it gets in my eyes and mouth, but the hood fits well and doesn't blow off in windy weather. Nice enough to wear while a little dressed up. This coat will get a lot of use this winter!
I am always freezing cold, so I went in and asked for the warmest coat they had, and they told me this was it! I've gone on long walks out in teen temperatures and I stayed warm, and it's really comfortable! Sometimes the zipper's a little hard to get done, but it seems to be getting better as I use the coat more.
