Bought this coat for my wife to replace a very similar coat that had worn out from a few years of use. She already loves this coat more than the old one. Very warm and comfortable. She was also super happy that it came in petite so the sleeves were hanging over her hands. Will be her go-to winter coat for years to come.
This jacket is soft, and definitely warm. I have not yet worn it below the 30s. I also like the cuffs at the end of the arms, as well as the fact that you can remove the hood. The only negatives to this jacket is that the down feathers actually poke out of the outer fabric, and can easily be pulled out. Although it is not extremely noticeable, my concern is that over time the down layer will thin out and the jacket will no longer keep me as warm as it used to. The other thing I don't like about the jacket is that it has 2 zipper heads, which actually makes it difficult to zip it up, and sometimes out of frustration I just resort to using the snaps.
Very glad I have this coat as I now feel ready for winter. This means dog walking, school bus duty, and just getting around. 5'3" and average weight/not skinny, bought the petite medium and it fits with room for a sweater. Sleeves are at the right length. Coat feels light but will clearly block the cold wind. I love the chocolate color and I am not bothered by the fake fur that lines the hood. Consider me walking happy.
It's a nice coat. I thought it would be heavier or thicker. I needed something really warm for Colorado weather. It is a nice coat that seems good quality.
