Exactly the coat I'd hoped for, but I got an XL and it was way too small for me. You don't have plus sizes that are adequate and therefore, I cannot wear your clothes. I have yet to find any that fit. So sad. In a coat I wear a 2x....usually. Also the color selection is very subdued for me. You used to have bright, happy colors...I bought them when I was thinner and younger and they make me happy especially in bad weather. Please, larger sizes in petite lengths and light, happy colors.
I wanted to upgrade from a Land's End down coat which had served me well and loved the fuscia colour of last year's 3/4 length "ultra warm" coat. There was not enough down esp in the sleeves but overall just not enough down in the down pockets to fill them out. I did like the cocooned feeling when everything was done up and the hood around my face. Just a shame it was not ultra warm! I continue to look for a warmer coat for the up coming winter in Ontario.
This coat looks nice and seems like it would be very warm, except that it is too roomy--I could have worn this 9 months pregnant. I am replacing my old coat because of the same problem. It just lets too much cold air in. Noting that it fit right in the shoulders and sleeves so a smaller size would not have helped.
I bought this coat because I moved from warm weather to cold weather. I have a dog I need to take out several times a day. My daughter has this coat and recommended it to me. It is just what I need to keep me warm on those cold winter days,
