This coat was extremely comfortable and seems as if it would be warm. I did not keep as I wanted a bright white coat and this was more of an off white. Also, thought the price a little high compared to other coats that seem of equal quality. Very nicely made and may consider getting in black when a coupon comes my way.
This is a lovely coat in many ways. Alas! I am 5'9" and the coat in a size Large is too short in the sleeves, and though it looks fine in the body, the hand warmer pockets hit me too high. PLEASE, LLBean! Stop making everything for ladies who are 5'4"!!! Make this lovely coat in a Tall. Regretfully I must send this back.
This coat is excellent not only for outdoors during the Winter but it also kept me warm when the snow caused us to lose power. It kept me warm and toasty when it got down to 10 degrees outside last winter. Excellent coat and would highly recommend. Enough to where I convinced my mom into buying herself the longer one to keep herself warm.
I was skeptical about ordering a warm winter coat online, but no longer!! I travel between California and Austria regularly and needed a warm coat for the Austrian winter that I could also pack in my suitcase. I also needed a coat that was versatile enough for walking, shopping, and social events. The brown color is very rich. I am 5'2" so the coat falls right at my knees The size is just right, what I normally wear.
