The coat is all I could ask for in a warm three-quarter down coat. I am 5'5" and 135 pounds. The coat sleeves and coat length are just right. If the coat is indeed waterproof as advertised it should be perfect for any cold, wet or snowy weather. I bought the dark brown because that was the only color available. Would like to have had a lighter color, but all were sold out.
I just found this coat on sale in the store.They had only 1 left and it was black. I am 5' 3" tall and weigh 145 lbs. I tried on a medium petite and it fit perfectly. Sleeves of medium coats are usually long on me, but the petite size was just right. I like that the zipper doesn't go all the way to the bottom of the coat. It makes it easy to walk and sit without pulling on the zipper. There is a cell phone size pocket on the inside of the coat with a velcro flap closure. The only thing I don't like about the coat is the pockets which are small and up high towards the front so when I put my hands in the pockets it makes my stomach appear big. I don't know yet how warm the coat will be as I have not had a chance to wear it on a really cold day. It doesn't seem to have much down in the sleeves.
This coat is exactly what I was looking for. It is so warm yet not heavy at all. The northeast has had a brusque winter so I was looking for a coat to keep me warm! This does the trick! I love it! LL Bean sells quality items!
