L.L.Bean's has always been my favorite name brand, perhaps this makes me a little bias; however the quality and practicality of this jacket, is very good. When I travel aboard I like to take a couple or a least one as a present for a relative, and they love it. For them sometimes it is difficult to find such a good quality in their own country.
A major disappointment, it is the shortest jacket I have ever owned. In addition, the zipper is very difficult to use. You would be much better off with a different jacket.
