This coat was an X-large but was very tight. I brought it to our srore in Albany and exchanged it for an xx-large. I had bought this as a one-day mark-down and they exchanged it for the same price. I have always been very happy with any LLbean purchase. You have outstanding return policies.
Overall, I liked the jacket. However, the sleeves of the fleece liner and sleeves of the outer shell didn't "play well" with each other. This made the jacket a bit difficult to get on and off. With a minor re-design this could be a really great jacket.
i read quite a few bad reviews on this jacket , and found they were justified. i had to return my xl for a xxl first time i have ever needed that size (lost 12 pounds in last year, so that is no it) the arms are tight even on the xxl, liner is pushing out and pulling back when putting on and taking off. tight on the neck. the good is it is pretty warm , not my warmest. best of all i bought it on the daily special for 39.99 plus i had a 10 dollar off so for 29.99 yea it is worth it ,but not much more
Well made jacket with good design except for a couple of poorly thought - out items, which are related.....the fleece lined sleeves want to push out every time you put the jacket on. The sleeves either need to be lined with a smoother fabric that does not adhere to your shirt sleeves or the fasteners need to be beefed up to keep the insides of the sleeves from pushing out. Other than that minor annoyance, the jacket is warm, comfortable and well worth the price.
