I received my jacket just in time for the recent very cold weather in Central Texas and it served me very well. I am glad I made the decision to purchase it.
I read all the reviews before I purchased and one in particular was true. There is a problem with the inner shell and outer shell when putting on and taking off the jacket. The outer shell is too small to accommodate the inner shell, thereby the sleeves tend to stick to the jacket. Very difficult to insert arms in sleeve and the cuff of the inner shell tends to become bunched up. It has secure loops to the tie inner with outer at the cuff but that makes it more of problem. You must of grab on to both the outer and inner shell with the opposite hand when removing your arm from the coat when getting the jacket off. Thinking about returning this item. When it's on- all works well. Oh the cell phone pocket on the inside of the outer shell cannot be accessed when the inner shell is zippered in. Weird.
This is a great jacket. I'm 6' and purchased a 'tall', that leaves the cuff resting on my hands just a bit which I like for a cold weather jacket, when I extend my arms for driving or skiing, throwing snowballs, etc., my wrists stay covered. This is a comfortable jacket. I often wear sweaters and heavy shirts in the winter so I haven't worn the fleece jacket under it. I find the shell to be adequate when shoveling snow, walking in storms, or any other cold weather activity if I have a warm underlayer. The cell phone pocket is great, I've had this jacket for 5 years now and thought I should let others know: this is an outstanding jacket, very warm (worn in Idaho winters for 3 yrs.), extermely sturdy (wear mine daily all fall and winter for all sorts of activities to just a general wear coat). Mine doesn't show any signs of wear at all!
