The 3-in-1 jacket can be used with outer shell and inner fleece, outer shell alone, or inner fleece alone. Idea is good but when outer shell and inner fleece are used together, the inner fleece sleeve becomes problematic; it tends to snag with the sleeve of a sweater. This makes it a hassle to put on or remove the stormchaser 3-in-1 when used with a sweater. A standalone jacket would be a better choice than the 3-in-1 stormchaser.
HAVE BEEN SEARCHING DENVER FOR A YEAR. FINALLY HAD FOUND A SIMILAR JACKET, AT $70 MORE THAN I PAID FOR THIS JACKET. LL BEAN'S IS ACTUALLY NICER. BUT, ORDERED THE WRONG SIZE. COULD NOT BELIEVE HOW SIMPLE IT WAS TO EXCHANGE, LLB EVEN PAID THE SHIPPING TO RETURN. VERY PLEASED WITH THE JACKET AND LLBEAN.
This jacket is great for our winter's in Kentucky. We just got one of our few snow falls and I was never cold in this jacket. Great jacket and I recommend it.
