I ordered this parka for my husband but he didn't like it. The quality was good. But it was too small for a large size and was kind of too short . I had to return it eventually.
Clever jacket builds the layering into the design using the zippers and snaps to attach the fleece to the outer shell. Great jacket for the traveler as it allows for multiple exposures and has a number of pockets that LL Bean designs typically provide. Zips tightly to the chin eliminating drafts, and is reasonably water repellent. Perhaps the only negative is, because of the fleece, shirt sleeves can bunch a bit when donning the jacket. Has held up well to many washings and drys very quickly as the fleece and jacket can be separated. Liked it enough that I bought another some years later and now use the older one for camping and hiking as the shell holds up well to abrasion.
Great idea but the shortcomings of this jacket - as expressed by previous reviewers - will have me returning this item: unusually high and stiff collar, zippers which stick and are difficult to operate, etc. There was no colorshift in the graphic representation of this item on the website and was actually quite flattering for my coloring.
