Very comfortable and flexible winter jacket, not too thick or stiff. The fleece is super soft, feels great. This is a perfect coat for winter activities like hiking & skiing. Not quite heavy or long enough for hunting in our winters.
I bought this as a Christmas present for my husband. The soft polarfleece is great, and the windbreaker is good protection from the elements. The only problem is that when the two are put together, it is VERY difficult to get into the jacket's arms and when it is finally on, the inner lining pushes through the cuffs and is very messy looking. We decided not to send it back, but to keep it as two separate items - NOT a lined winter jacket.
There's no better jacket made...ANYWHERE! I've purchased them on-line and at the outlet stores. They last forever! Also, with the crazy weather changes we have in New England, I'm in the windbreaker one day and the sub-zero three layers the next. I'll continue to buy them...don't ever stop making them!
This jacket may be the finest I have ever had. I wore it with the zip-in liner to a ball game where the temp dipped into the 30s and I was warm and comfortable. A few days later I took out the liner and wore it on a rainy day with temps in the high 50s and was just as comfortable. I recommend ordering a size larger than usual as the liner is a little bulky and the jacket felt tight with my usual XL size. i exchanged it for a XXL and the jacket is perfect.
