The only thing I don't like so far is that the inside pockets of the liner have a large HOLE in them. Not like a worn out old hole, but a deliberately unstitched area at the bottom back of the pocket. I've lost a number of small things out of those holes. I'm going to have to sew it up.
I got two, one for each of my teenage boys, and the versatility of these jackets is just what we need! The fleece liner is great for cool October days in New England, and the outer shell is great for days when it is rainy/misty and cool. When they put them together, they'll be warm and dry for a Boston winter. Plus, I know LL Bean stands behind all their merchandise, so if I ever have a problem, their customer service people will be on it like white on rice!!
The jacket does keep you warm, but it is difficult to get into and out of because the lining is so clinging. I would also recommend you get a coat one size bigger than you normally wear because of this.
