This was my first experience shopping through a catalogue and ordering online for a gift. Of the few small gifts I gave my husband before he left on a trip, this was the most well-received. It was perfect.
I like this jacket because of the 3 ways it can be worn and because it has a lot of pockets! The only complaint I have is that the cell phone pocket is inside the shell and hard to use with the fleece liner over it! It would have been better to have had an additional cell phone pocket on the shell as well!
I wa disapointed in the jacket length. While it fit width wise and felt comfortable, the jacket length was much too short, which seems to be an issue with other jackets I have purchased from LL Bean. I returned the jacket.
I am a 5'8'' woman 200+ pounds. I ordered the womens 3 in 1 in an XL. It fit wonderfully in the torso, shoulders and length. However when I extended my arms forward, 3 inches of my wrists were exposed.
I returned it and ordered a Mens Medium, hoping for extra arm length and same torso dimensions. Arms were perfect, the chest was too small and I am NOT a 44 in chest (as the sizing went on the site.)
I Love LL Bean, but I have now learned there are some things that just need to tried on before purchase. Coats for me are just one of them.
Otherwise, both coats looked to be fine products and I was sad to have to send them back.
