Have had this for about 4 years and the ziipper no loner stays closed nor does the hood. The fleece makes it difficult to get in and out of when wearing a sweater or sweatshirt. Am going to have to replace it after only 4 years.
I bought this for my son who is going away to college in Vermont. I had hoped it would seem warmer (and it's hard to tell since we purchased it in July!) but my son seems to really like the weight. He also likes the fact that it comes apart for cool but not cold weather. He runs much hotter than I do, so it remains to be seen if it will really be warm enough for the dead of winter or if we'll be ordering another one for that season. The colors are a bit bright, but he likes those colors so it works out well for him. (My husband would never wear such bright colors.)
I purchased the jacket as a gift after seeing one that another person wore to our office.
It was the perfect birthday gift for my Father. I liked the fact that he could wear it several different ways depending on his needs or the weather conditions. As I expected he was very pleased with the jacket and said he had been looking for a new one and couldn't find one he liked but that his new LL Bean 3-in-1 jacket fit the bill perfectly.
