This jacket should supply all my needs for the winter in central Florida. I like the 3-in-1 capabilities. It provides the flexibility that I need. The sizing runs slightly small, but should do just fine.
The jacket should also be an asset when we visit Wisconsin in the summers.
I set out looking for a rain coat for my husband and when I saw this coat on sale, I thought it would be even better since it really is three coats in one. He loves it. We do agree with the other reviewers though that it runs a little bit small. In many things he can wear a medium, but the large I decided to order was definitely the right decision. The fleece on the inside is especially nice, in true LL Bean fashion!
I bought 3-in-1 jackets for me, my husband, and my daughter for our upcoming cruise to Alaska. This one is perfect for my husband. I got it in the dark green and khaki color. He loves it. It will be perfect for the changing weather because he can wear the fleece alone or the shell alone, or both if it is very cold. The fit (L) was perfect for him. He usually needs Tall because he is 6'1" but in this case, the regular fit nicely - the arms are perfect and it hits right at the waist. Great, quality product.
