It's actually a very nice jacket. Still, I tried it on and did not like three things: 1) the velcro sleeve cuffs were uncomfortable, annoying and scratchy. 2) the collar felt too tall, like an Elvis "Viva Las Vegas" jacket. 3) the shade of blue was too bright. I was hoping it would be a much darker navy.
The jacket looks cool in the catelogue. It seems very well made and I liked the removable liner.
I may be way too picky (just ask my wife; she rolls her eyes while I complain). But in the end, I did not completely like this jacket and intend to return it to exchange it for something else.
Bought this winter jacket for my husband. Great feature is the zip-in lining which can easily be taken out. Awesome jacket for cool and COLD weather. We live in Germany and the water-resistant feature is great when it just happens to start raining. Would definitely recommend, and LLBean ships to APO addresses which is hard to find in a company!
I returned this product. I had difficulty with the liner consistently pushing out the end of the sleeve as I put on the jacket. The jacket appeared well made as are all of LL Bean's products.. perhaps just a personal annoyance.
