Purchased in February to cope with New England cold to which I am unaccustomed as a visitor. Was delighted with the warmth and softness of the fleece, sheer convenience of the outer waterproof shell, and flexibility and comfort the combination provided. Bought them for family and friends too!! Highly recommended.
Unfortunately this item was too small and had to be returned. It wasn't available in a larger size and couldn't be replaced. It was disappointing since the coat was exactly what we were looking for.
...at least lower mid-west seasons. The fit and color were just as pictured. A very serviceable multi-season jacket - arrived late Feb. and exposed immediately to cold, damp and blustery late winter/early spring weather. Fleece easily zipped out. Rain resistant as advertised. A relative bargain.
This is a good coat for me because I travel a lot to places like Mexico in the winter. I can use the jacket and lining separately there in the evenings, then put them together when I come home to the cold. But I am not a particularly large guy and I got a large that is a little tight when I wear them both. I don't think a really big guy would be able to use this coat even in an extra large. I find it easier to use when I keep them separate and don't zip the lining in or attach it at the sleeves. All that is a big hassle and it works just as well or better by just putting the jacket over the lining and taking them off separately.
