I purchased one of these jackets about a year ago and discovered that it is a perfect light weight jacket, unlike the heavier fleece that I use to keep warm, this weight is more suitable for nippy mornings and days in the Northwest. My only reservation about the jacket is that after repeated washings, the surface starts to pill. I can see the same thing happening with my new one- perhaps a bit slower- so hopefully it has been improved.
I had a previous Fitness Fleece Jacket that I really liked, therefore the reason for ordering another. This one is even better. The fleece has a much softer feel and doesn't pill like the one I bought in the past. Also, it seems the arms are a tad longer and the added fullness keeps the arms from feeling too constricted. Love that it is a little longer, but yet not too long. (The one I had in the past seemed to shrink a bit after I washed it, therefore it ended up short.) I use this mostly on cool mornings when I go for run. It's cozy, yet weightless and easy to slip off and tie around my waist when it gets too warm. Best of all, this jacket serves a dual purpose. It's nice enough to wear in town or out for a casual dinner.
I've been purchasing this fitness feece jacket for a few years and have been very pleased with the quality and style. This works well with a tee shirt or to even wear around the house when it is a little cool. I would love to see this in even more color choices.
This jacket is the perfect extra layer for under jackets on a cold day or simply to use as a light cover on a chilly day. It's not bulky, super soft and fits great!
