It is good to wear for a cool spring day and a mild fall day. It is also good to wear as a sweater if your house is chilly and you don't want to raise the heat ( save money). NOT FOR WINTER COLD WEATHER. I LOVE THE PRETTY BLUE COLOR.?
I have a bunch of older, lightweight, llbean fleece jackets in great, bright colors that I bought several years ago but loved to death by last winter. When I went in search for replacements, I found llbean had dropped that line, even though it was the company's only true alternative to the standard fleece weights. And that's a real shame. Then I found and bought some of these, which seemed to promise lightweight, colorful alternatives. Only it didn't work out that way. First, they're not nearly as lightweight, which I like so much because they can then be worn both as indoor alternatives to sweaters and as outdoor protection from the mild chill. The second problem with these is the interior side. It's cheap, slick and icky-feeling, a non-fleece fabric. Why?? The thing about fleece is its great feeling. What's the point of replacing the interior with something that is not fleece, is not cozy and is not comfortable? I thought last winter's negative reviews about this issue would send you back to the drawing board. Please return to where you started, llbean, and get it right this time.
I have MANY old fitness fleece, and they used to be fleecy on the inside. Now they aren't, it is a slick polyester feeling fabric. Loved the feel of the old ones, fleecy on both sides. Please bring back the old style!
Just got this in time for the first cold days. I had one that got chewed up by one of the dogs, cough drop in pocket, and finally ordered another. It's light because it is supposed to be but still warm, soft inside and out. Got the pearl grey and it's very pretty. You do need to bring this back in a hoodie
