This jacket is the best purchase I have made in a long time!! Unless you want this to hug your body, it is best to buy it 2 sizes larger than your normal size for a loose fit. Great as a jacket on those chilly and windy days or just lounging around in the evenings watching TV.
Let me start off by saying that I own 4 of these and plan to buy more...The fitness fleece is perfect as a lighter jacket in spring and fall or for wearing indoors during the cold winter months. The fit comfortably under other heavier jackets during the winter. Worn on their own, they are supremely soft and luxurious. I love the assortment of colors that it is available in, as well as the different styles (quarter-zip, full-zip, and hoodie). They make great gifts, and everyone in my family loves them as well. It has somewhat of a lighter weight to it, but I love that it never weighs you down. The softness of this fleece is unparalleled. It feels like wrapping yourself in a warm plush blanket. They wash beautifully as well. Highly recommended.
Agree with other reviewer that fleece sheds. It was stuck on the shirt that I wore underneath and I had to pick it off as it did not seperate in the wash. A car seatbelt will exacerbate this problem. I also found that it pilled on the side where I generally carry my purse. Otherwise, it is nice and warm and lightweight. Larger for the the size, but most things are these days. I purchased this product along with a jacket as a last minute add on for my trip to Alaska. I am still wearing it on occassion despite these problems. I hope that LL Bean take note of the problem and corrects it as I would love to purchase more.
This is a nice light jacket for cool Florida mornings. The color matches a top I bought at LLBean. However........... the fleece sheds. It catches on the seat belt of our car. It ends up on my other clothes and my husbands shirt if we switch drivers! Very untidy. Otherwise I like this fleece but would not recommend buying it.
