Very light weight. No warmth. This is not what fleece is supposed to be. very disappointed. Size okay. 5'6" and 135 lbs. Medium fits well. Might have been able to try a small, but will not be interested in this product anymore.
This fleece is true to size and well made. However, I wasn't as pleased with the kind of fleece as I expected. It is a very lightweight fleece on the outside, but the inside is smooth and feels like a polyester material type smooth. I've had other LLBean fleeces which I've liked better.
Thank you. I am so happy that these are now available in Petite. I have over a dozen in the Regular Small, but they are on the snug side. Nevertheless, I wear one almost every day as they are just the right weight. Now I can have just the right fit as well. The Medium Petite is Perfect.
I normally take a petite M in LL Bean clothing, and this jacket fits just as it should; shaped to the body, but not tight anywhere. I am 5'-2" and 130lbs. My favourite thing about this lightweight jacket is the collar/neck! When I have it fully zipped, the top of the collar, and the zipper come to well below my chin, yet still keeps the chill out; when it is unzipped, it looks quite discreet. Such a very welcome change from the usual collar/neck in this style of jacket. The fleece is light weight, and very soft. In the winter time I keep my house in the mid-to-high sixties, and this is the perfect sweater to keep warm in. I imagine it will be a terrific summer jacket for chilly evenings.
