The fleece is indeed different- pills terribly. The cut and fit are great but this is clearly different fabric than the same jacket I bought a few years ago and have practically worn out because I have worn it so much. I have washed this new one three times and it still pills all over my clothing and anything else it touches. I am probably going to return it.
This jacket is nice, but it's thinner than I expected. It is definitely not for cold weather. The color is why I bought it but thought it would be a thicker fleece.
I absolutely love the Fitness Fleece. It is perfect for the cool temperatures of Europe in the Fall and Spring. The only thing I would change is the length of the sleeves. I don't like my fleeces to be too bulky, so I went with a medium. After a couple of washes, the sleeves seemed to have shortened. I'm going to have to go for a large to keep my long-sleeved shirts from showing.
