I ordered this jacket in the green. It's a beautiful color! I'm glad I read the reviews before buying. Many buyers said the jacket ran large. It does! According to the L.L. Bean size chart, I am between the Small and Medium sizes. I ordered a Small and I probably could have ordered an XSmall. I've worn it once to work, over a t-shirt. It's a little roomy in the chest and the belly portion is several inches too wide. The arms fit perfectly. I hope that a hot dryer may shrink it a little bit.
I just bought this for an upcoming trip. I was looking for something instead of a sweater that would be cozy, lightweight, and easy to wash and dry. This is perfect! I bought this in Yellow Jasper, which is a beautiful lemon-lime shade. I wear a size 8-10 and bought a medium, which fit great. It will layer easily, but doesn't look too big with just a tee and has just enough shape (not boxy). Right now it's perfect for under a down vest while it's still chilly out.
Love this jacket! It's very lightweight -- can hardly feel it when it's on you. I can see myself getting a lot of use out of this. I'd love to have it in every color. Seems very well made (well-stitched).
I have this jacket in the SugarPlum with the matching vest and also the purple vest. I came back to get the jacket in purple but it's no longer in the plus sized list. I guess I missed out. I bought the Boreal Blue because I love this jacket. Lightweight and warm. I can layer it for skiing or I wear it in the car for long trips when I take off my heavy winter coat. Love it! More colours (colors) in plus sizes please.
