This light weight jacket is perfect for a mild fall day. I have washed it a few times already and there is no pilling of the fleece. The fit is true to size. I would surely buy this jacket in other colors and recommend this light weight jacket to others. L.L.Bean continues to sell quality items. I'm sure that this is another piece that I will have in my closet and be able to use for years.
I liked this so much - this is the second one I have bought. This is very warm and comfortable to wear. There is some shrikage so use care about putting it in the dryer. The first one I dried got slightly shorter - the second one I did not dry and it is perfect.
This lightweight zip-up is a 3-season sweater alternative that comes in some beautiful colors. For Fall, I found a rich teal, maize, and an orange-red - and bought all of them on sale! These can layer over a base layer for inside, and is not bunchy under a shell for outside. I think it's dressy enough for going out to lunch or as a sweater at work. They remain the same quality as they were five years ago and wash without pilling. Sizing is true, and a bit relaxed. As a size 10-12, (5'4" 135lbs), I bought large, but also fit in medium for a closer/neater fit.
I love this jacket. I often have trouble finding jackets with short enough sleeves. I ordered the petite medium and fit perfect. Sleeves were just right, easy zip up, light weight and nice lines.
