This jacket is a must have! It is very comfortable and true to size. It is not as bulky as other fleece jackets, but will still keep the chill away. The added zippered pocket on the sleeve is a plus for storage on the go!
A couple of years ago, I bought this fitness fleece jacket in XS regular in a cobalt blue. I loved the color, but was never happy with the fit because it was too long in the sleeves and in the length. I was delighted when LLBean decided to carry this product in petite. I bought the fitness fleece in black ( XS petite), and it fits perfectly. I am 4' 11" and weigh 112 lbs. It is not clingy, but not baggy either. I am hoping LLBean will soon carry some prettier colors like a soft pink or mauve.
Have been buying these for years. They are soft, lightweight, and wash and dry with no issues. The fit is true to size. These have a nice slightly fitted look and looks a bit dressier than a sweatshirt or chunky fleece jacket. I like that the zipper lays flat and is not too visible. They are great to travel with as they take up no room in a suitcase. I sometimes go up a size so that I can layer underneath. They are lightweight and perfect for the weather in the SE.
