I have worn a fitness fleece jacket on most days for the past six winters here in south central Texas. I own 12 of them. They are so much more comfortable than any other fleece jacket or any sweaters that I automatically reach for one to match whatever shirt I'm wearing.
When my Mother who is 90 years mentioned she wanted a fleece jacket from LLBean I jumped at the opportunity to get her one. I bought one in coral and one in light blue since I knew it was something she desired. She was delighted by both. She loves wearing them in her senior complex to dinner where it can be chilly.
