This is a lightweight trim-fitting layer that you can wear alone, or underneath a jacket. I am a slender size 8 and I find that the sleeves in a Size Small are roomy enough in to accommodate a shirt underneath, which is nice too. Washes well and looks good enough for almost anywhere you want to go. Packs compactly. I've bought a new color or two for the past several seasons!
This is the most ideal weight of fleece for me - not too bulky, not too heavy, it's just right. I must have over ten of these in various colors! I've introduced my mother and my daughter to these, and they love them too. I prefer these to sweaters, as I love the machine washability and dryability. I keep checking the LLBean website to see if any new colors have emerged. (Hint: I am very fond of soft colors.) I love the full zip, as I can wear this unzipped when it's not too cold at night, but my shoulders and neck are kept toasty.
I bought this jacket to bring to Florida and wore it all the way down. It is light,warm and very comfortable. It is the perfect jacket to layer under a jacket. Would love to have many colors.
