I purchased this fleece for myself to wear like a sweater around the house or over a shirt. It fits perfectly according to the sizing chart. The Flag Blue is a gorgeous color, as indicated in the catalog or online. It is not the blue color of our USA flag (more perwinkle). It washed very well for the first time but haven't worn it long enough to gauge the hardiness. My only concern, albeit I am somewhat short waisted, is the height of the side zippers. Both zippers seem to be positioned very high on the chest. I would prefer them (even) more diagonal.
My husband and I love these fitness fleece jackets and pull-overs. They are great for layering to keep warm, but not bulky. We wear them all the time, through all seasons; on cool summer nights and indoors during winter when the heat is turned down to conserve energy.
I like the fitness fleece material. It is so soft and comfortable. I felt it ran true to size. However, I only gave it 4 stars because it is too short for my liking. I'm still keeping it but I wish it was about two inches longer at the waist.
I got around to trying this new jacket on just as I was getting ready for bed. I put it on and I could not take it off. It is so cozy and soft and warm and lush. I slept with this jacket on as a PJ top and ,subsequently, as a bed jacket. I have also worn it during the day in the house as a layering piece so I can keep that furnace thermostat as low as comfortably possible. I spilled some dark colored soup on it the other day. I washed the spot in the kitchen sink and then immediately put the jacket in the washing machine. The stain looked removed but this garment was almost new & I did not want a residual yellowish stain coming back in a few days. This material washes very nicely. The stain came out completely (I did add a dose of OxiClean.) There are very few wrinkles either from sleeping with this top, wearing it through the day, or washing it. I hung it on a hanger in my basement to dry and it dried in less than a day. The color I got--turquoise or teal--is very pretty. I like this top very much and would consider another item in this material. I did go large because I wanted it loose for layering. I ususally wear a 1X but went to a 2X. I could have stayed with a 1X but there is plenty of room for layering over heavier tops and multiple layers of thermal underwear tops. In Western New York weather, sometimes I put on 3 thermal tops under my regular tops. Highly recommended.
