I've found that this is the perfect fleece for summer travels. It's certainly a thin fleece, especially for a jacket style, but it's great when that's just what you need! We travel a lot, and flying in the summer is always a nuisance, because you move from an air-conditioned terminal to a hot plane sitting on the tarmac, and once you're in the air, it always gets chilly. I found this fleece to be a great solution for this ever-changing environment. It's light enough to wear in the aiport, the jacket style lets me slip it off easily for those inevitable pre-takeoff delays, and it keeps me warm once we're in the air. The super-soft fabric is cozy for sleeping on long-haul flights, and I don't have any problems with wrinkles on reaching our destination. It also seemed to dry much faster than some of the cotton tees in my post-vacation load of laundry while still retaining its original softness.
This fleece rocks. I have about 5 of the 3/4 zip ones and love them so I thought a full zip would be great. The material is great if you want something to keep the chill off. The fit is perfect if you are looking for comfy/stylish. The colors are great. Gonna get me some more!!!
I have purchased four of these fleece shirts. They are the perfect layer to wear with a tee shirt on cool days, and under a wind breaker on damp days. (In colder weather, I switch to the trail model fleece jacket.) The colors are beautiful, and it dries quickly on a hanger after washing.
