Just returned from a trip through Canada by train and around the Pacific Northwest. This jacket was great for layering, for the varied weather conditions and for the cool air on the plane coming back to the Northeast. With the addition of a fitness fleece vest, I was good to go anywhere.
As a golfer this Fitness fleece is super. The garment is light yet warm and really keeps the wind out. It is light enough to go under a water proof jacket so it does not get in the way of my swing. Love the colors too. Well done LL Bean. The fit is perfect.
This item is soft and comfortable. It provides warmth on cool spring/summer/fall nights. Retains its shape when washed and dried. Only negative is that it sticks to car seatbelt and leaves small colored lint on belt which if not removed will stick to clothing of person who uses the seatbelt next.
I find I need to size up to have it fit comfortably over L/S Polos etc. to have movement room and not fit too tightly. Otherwise, it is a good basic product.
