This item just arrived, and although it is a large fleece jacket, it barely filled the envelope. I usually hold LLBean in high esteem, so this item really shocked me. The fabric is so thin, I am afraid I might stick my finger right through it. The zipper pull is about the size of a housefly. If your eyesight isn’t great, this could be hard to zip. I guess this might serve as insulation under a coat, or if you live in Florida it might keep you warm. I am tempted to keep it, just to see if it lasts, despite my skepticism that it will.
I've loved these jackets for as long as Bean has making has been selling them. They're great over a tee, and under a vest or jacket. I have quite a few colors and wear them fall, winter and spring. They're not too hot to wear indoors. Great for travel paired with Perfect Fit pants. They will leave a little fuzz on your seat belts for awhile until they get washed a few times. Wish there were more color choices in the plus sizes.
I bought this for my very cold air-conditioned office, as an extra layer over many other layers, including rather bulky sweaters. I'm 5'4" 125lbs and got the size medium for this. It's very stretchy so would fit me fine with or without all the layers, it's a very nice jacket. Only one thing, the navy blue color is very dull. Otherwise I'm happy with it and might get another one in black. Great price and super comfy, very thin jacket but cozy.
