Purchased 3 of these over the years and love them. Would like to have another but tried the new longer fit and it is not flattering. As others have requested, please bring back the original!
The fleece is great -- warm, soft, and comfy. It's a thinner fleece, which is what I wanted. I wanted a fleece that would be good for everyday wear, but also for traveling (light-weight and packable) and hiking/camping. This fleece is great for those purposes. However, I took off one star because it does run large. On the other hand, I like the length and overall cut.
I purchased several of the Fitness Fleece jackets as I tend to be chilly indoors and the climate I live in does not require a much heavier outside jacket. The colors are gorgeous and the jackets wash and wear quite well. I have a long torso and I was pleasantly surprised that the regular length was perfect. Per my LL Bean purchases of the past few months, the sizing of each jacket was slightly different, not enough that it bothered me, but enough that it is noticeable. Overall, I will continue to buy these and hope LL Bean fixes the inconsistency issues in their clothing as of late and continues to make shirts and jackets longer.
I'm ordering my second jacket. I love the longer length and the smooth inside makes it very easy to layer over a long-sleeved top (it doesn't stick to the fabric and bunch up).
