I was concerned that they did not offer this in petites as I am 5"2 100lbs and most things from LLbean are too big. The misses XS fits great. The fleece is so soft and very warm. Very sharp and nice cut. I look forward to wearing it this winter as a layer or alone.
Disappointed in changes, don't like fabric, larger

I had purchased one of these jackets 2 or 3 years ago and loved it. It was starting to look worn and when I saw the pretty new Plum Rose color I decided to replace it. The color is lovely and vibrant, but this jacket is different than the old one. The cut is larger and longer (and unflattering on me) and the sleeves are too long. The fabric is also different - the older jacket was a lightweight fleece, this one seems more like a lightweight, cheap and stretchy velour. I'm disappointed to have to return the jacket and look for something else.
I have bought 5 of the fitness fleece jackets over the last three years and was eagerly awaiting my 6th jacket in Plum Rose....a beautiful new colour. Before my 6th jacket arrived, I would have rated the Fitness Fleece jacket as a '5'. But not now. I am so disappointed that the jacket has been changed and is now longer and the fabric looks and feels different as well....cheaper some how. I wear my jackets in all seasons; over a t-shirt, under a vest, by itself, or for our cold Canadian winters layered with a L.L. Bean Comfort Fleece jacket. It has been my 'go to item', the colours are beautiful and I am often complimented on the jacket and asked where I got it. But, even though I am 5''10" tall, this new styling is too long for me. When I try it with my L.L. Bean vests, it is longer than the vest....a look that I don't care for. It would be nice, if in the description of the item in the catalogue, we were told that a product had been changed. I live in Canada and so don't have the luxury of free return shipping, so I will keep this jacket, but will probably not order one again.
