This item is beautifully soft & the color I chose, thistle was very pretty, unfortunately I had to return the jacket as I couldn't fasten the zip ! It refuse to go up, or down, hopefully the problem was with my paticular jacket.
The older style was flattering, but the newer one is 3 inches longer and sticks to pants an hip level, making it look awkward and huge. Lighter colors are see-through. Please bring back the old, shorter version!! It was my favorite!! Bring back the vests, too!
I own another one and love it so I asked for this as a gift. Even though it is the same size as the older one it is big on me, not as fitted, and the quality is not nearly as nice. I realize these performance fleeces are supposed to be thin to layer but this material just feels limp and cheap. Also the beeswax color has inside pockets that are black and show through. Quality control should have picked up on this. It was a gift so I will not return. LL Bean needs to get back to carrying a better quality that their customers are used to.
Love, Love, Love this jacket!!! Runs true to size, material is light, stretchy, soft, and very comfortable. Has two handy pockets inside the jacket and another below the left shoulder. Will take up very little space when traveling. Just right to take the chill off, instead of turning the heat up :)
