Please offer this in petite sizes, or make them shorter again. I've purchased and worn these fitness fleece jackets, in many colors, for years - they have been my 'go-to' indoor/outdoor lightweight layer. Sadly, I've had to return the last couple I've purchased because they are way too long for someone who is 5 ft. tall; they now are tunic length for me. The older ones I have are tattered, and I'm very disappointed that I am unable to replace them. I've given the product 3 stars and would recommend it to a taller friend, but not 'petite' friends.
I've purchased at LLBean for decades, but nothing is more basic and practical than this versatile jacket. I have it in navy and wear it EVERY day...to the gym, to stores, walking in the neighborhood. It looks so much neater than a sweatshirt...and more flattering. If you don't like bulky or heavy clothing...this one is perfect for you too! I'm often a petite medium, but I bought this in a regular size small, and I love the length and the trimness. Super as a layering piece also.
I bought this to replace another that was several years old. When I opened the package, I checked the tags on both jackets to see if they were different sizes. The current one is easily an inch or 1.5" longer (in sleeves and body) than the older one.
Too bad, as the older one fit me better.
LLBean, if you're making the misses size bigger, than please offer a petite option for those of us who are shorter than 5'4".
Still, I love the soft, plush fleece and this is a perfect weight for wearing indoors.
