The material is very thin and the zipper does not seem very sturdy. This is not at all like the fleece jackets that LL Bean used to have. This jacket is not made in USA like the old LL Bean products. What has happened to LL Bean? I am very disappointed in this jacket and will be returning it.
A few years ago I bought this in white. I use it as a light jacket AND as an every day over -shirt. It is very well made, easy to wash, no pilling and comfortable. Wear it with a tee shirt or without. I wear it with jeans, wool slacks, or any other type of pants, at work and at home. The lines are flattering even for a larger woman, like me. I'll be ordering another one today.
I bought the rich turquoise and simply love it. Coming back for another one in a different color. I especially like the extra length, something some of the reviewers seem to complain about. I have 6 of the half zip sweaters and the one thing that bugs me is how I wish they were an inch or two longer. It was a happy surprise to find the jacket is the perfect length for my 5'5" frame.
